Creationists, a glance at the genome of any living thing clearly proves evolution, how can you deny it?
Humans, for example, have only about 30,000 genes, the rest of the genome (the vast majority of it) is non-coding DNA, including junk DNA, insertions by retroviruses, and code for features we no longer have (like a tail). We can use genome mapping to SEE where our line diverged from reptiles, again where it diverged from Carnivora, from modern monkeys, from chimpanzees. Far more completely and elegantly than the corroborating fossil record, we can map our own evolution.
How can you still deny this?

They can by simply examining anything we ourselves create in a similar way. For example, digital technology, if we were to examine the makeup and construction of everything from a simple digital calculator watch to the worlds most powerful supercomputers we would be able to make a tree or chart in exactly the same way, showing where, iphones diverged off the line, or gps systems, or roombas, everything would fall into a line of development or "tree" based on similarities and complexity. Yet all these things were created, it is an undeniable fact that they are created because we ourselves created them.
Of course I can't give a perfect example because we have yet to create anything which is alive and self replicates. But if we did there is no shadow of doubt that we would build upon our successful prototypes instead of starting from scratch each time, therefore the same principal would remain.
Therefore, living systems exhibiting similarities and varying ranges of complexity does not necessarily prove that they evolved from one another. You can interpret it that way if you want but you can also, just as validly and logically, interpret it as meaning that all living things have the same designer and purpose, God and to live, the same way we can conclude that all digital technology has the same designers and purpose, humans and to perform calculation (for a wide range of purposes, obviously).
Thus the creationist can very reasonably and logically deny that genome similarities is a valid proof of evolution.
Just sayin.

Living things do indeed adapt to their environment and all living creatures are made from the basic building blocks of life, their commonality if anything provides evidence that they were designed from a single common source.
In no way does any of this prove that all living things evolved from a single cell not least because a single cell if far to complex to "evolve" without intelligent design, direction and purpose.
** noncoding DNA sequences do have known biological functions, they are no longer refered to as "Junk DNA" . We are still discovering much about genomes, suggesting what we don't know supports "evolution" is an argument from ignorance.
** ERVs - Retro Viruses are in no way proof of Common Ancestry (see links)

Homology and embryology are more science fiction (and wishful thinking) that true science. If I said a baby éléphants trunck looks a lot like human nose that could hardly be classified as evidence humans once had truncks.
**We can use genome mapping to SEE where our line diverged from reptiles, again where it diverged from Carnivora, from modern monkeys, from chimpanzees**
You seem to be mixing science with art. Charts don't make science, they make ... art. There is little to no valid real science behind such compilations. Species are divided into distinct groups and no imaginary "line" links them to a common ancestor. The fossil record is verifiable proof and far from supporting evolution it supports the sudden appearance of complex life forms separated into distinct time periods with no interlinking or gradually progression.
How can you still deny this?
I have an education.

That was true 30 years ago but they've found that the genome is so complex that they need supercomputers to figure out how they can figure it out.
God is once again, infinitesimally, in the picture:
1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
Job 12:2 No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
And don't forget the Atheists Piight:
Job 39:13 ¶ Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?
14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,
15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;
17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

Most of them have the science background of a fourth grader, and you're asking them to comprehend genetic evidence?
The answers they gave you prove that they don't have the slightest clue how genetic evidence proves evolution.

Evolution could be so easily disproved with just a single fossil in the wrong time zone. Evolution passed this test.

Because what you are doing is taking evidence from an animal and ASSUMING that it applies to humans. That's why evolutions is called a theory. These test for evolution have never been directly been setup for humans, just animals. And last time I checked, the human body is completely different mechanically and especially biologically than any animal in this planet. Your evidence is based on ASSUMPTIONS. And we all know what happens when we assume....

hahahaha.
because the bible says that God created man and animals out of the same exact dust of the earth, so naturally we are going to have dna which says that. (genesis 2:7 and 19)

They're afraid of what they see as the implications of evolution.

Like they know what a "genome" is. Sounds like wizardry to them.

It doesn't "clearly prove" anything. Did you know that the engines in cars are all nearly identical in design? Does that mean they evolved?
If some being creates something, and they are intelligent about it, they will likely make it streamlined.
