    Diversion Program Arizona

A fee of a lot more than $140 and (at best) a year or two on probation. Possibly some jail time, but not likely if this was a first offense.

Oh, and a criminal conviction for theft on your record, which will make it next to impossible to ever get a job that involves handling money.

The diversion program was your chance to keep this off your record. The consequence of failing to complete the program is that you now have a criminal record.

I doubt you will get a second chance at diversion, but you had better show up at court on the 16th, or you'll have a bench warrant on top of a criminal record. It wouldn't hurt to be remorseful to the point of weeping when you see the judge.

Judge will be hard on you, if you over 18 you may sit in jail for a while. If under you will get more community hours, more fines longer probation.
