are feminists now days over rated.?
People who go around protesting about how woman need more rights in a first world country like USA or anywhere in western Europe in my eyes are protesting about something they are unaware of. They think that men are putting them down and the government has laws that prohibit woman from doing stuff that men are allowed to do. I have not come across anything where woman are given buy humans a lesser opportunity at doing something then men. In fact i see the government now days to be more oppressive against men in the at temp to fix this "discrimination". In the Australian and New Zealand defence force woman have a lower fitness requirement to be able to join. I find this very sexiest against men. In the Australian Air force woman need 4 push ups to get in men need 10, a man who can do a max of 6 push ups wont get in but a woman who can do 4 will, bit the man can do more push ups so wouldn't he be the Person better suited to join. he can defend a base better than a woman who is less fit. But because woman are natural weaker they have a lower limit. GET REAL this is silly and oppressive.

It isn't just a matter of legal rights that feminists are trying to deal with, it is old fashioned thinking that often gets in their way. Women still do not make as much money as men even if all factors are equal (see the source for an example using doctors) and women are under-represented in most powerful positions. They cannot even try to be priests and other religious leaders, like imans.
In terms of the military, if they wanted to they could make the entrance requirements so tough in terms of upper body strength that no woman, however fit she was. would get in and I suspect that is what you think is fair - make it men only and exclude all women due to this one tiny factor. However, wars are no longer fought with swords and axes. Brawn is not as important as it once was but education and intelligence is with modern weapons. My guess is that the upper body strength woudl only impact on 2% of the jobs that are needed to be done.
Women actually can do things men can't do in the military - likely 2% too. Let me give you an example. Women are allowed in combat in the military in Canada. In Afghanistan women have proved invaluable in terms of being able to access women only areas there. They were able to get valuable intelligence that men would not have been able to get. Also just having a woman present in an interrogation proved to be invaluable there.
I think the military understand it needs fit people so that is why it has physical requirements but it needs a lot more than upper body strength and women can provide a lot if one knows what is needed and understands what fairness really is.

Nope. How can a human being seeking the betterment of society be 'overrated'? hah.
