Jumping in the volcano will incinerate your physical body. Fast forward to judgement day. Hell and death are thrown into the lake of fire and destroyed permanently and for all eternity. They will never exist ever again. When people are judged unworthy, they are thrown into the lake of fire and destroyed, probably instantly and just as permanently as hell and death. There is no eternal torment in a lake of fire. That notion comes from Dante's "Inferno", a book of fiction loosely based on biblical concepts.
