Top 5 cars at Pocono were all Chevrolets, how about that?
Four of them were cars built by Hendrick Motorsports. One from RCR. Wonder how happy Childress is about getting beat by a single car team? In case you don't know, Newman's car comes from Hendrick, and Kurt Busch's Furniture Row Racing Chevy is built by RCR. Looks like them Toyota boys need to step it up.

lol @ 1st answer. The SS is a Holden Commodore converted to left hand side drive. In other words, an Australian car imported by Chevy. :p

While I expected to see more out of the Toyotas, being that they upped their power output this weekend, I wasn't surprised by all of the Chevrolets in the front. Chevy is, has been, and always will be dominant in NASCAR in the big picture; not only do they have the best equipment, but also the best drivers. They may not win the championship every year, but they are always in contention.
It is foolish to say Toyota has to "step it up" too much though; they are having a phenomenal year. Matt or Kyle may not be able to outdo Jimmie, but they can both certainly outrun about anyone else who will be in the Chase. Nobody will out-drive Jimmie when he's at his best.

You know if you go back to Indy, top 6 of the seven cars were Hendrick powered soo it's evident they def have the consistent speed pretty much wherever they go, looks like everyone else is once again playing catch up, if Gibbs turns there engine program back up you could see Matt and Kyle running up front again.

Did you forget Ford also races in NASCAR?
Anyway, I don't tend to make much of the brand wars in NASCAR. It sounds like it's probably more that Hendrick really knew something about building cars for Pocono. It is unusual to see in this day and time though, and kind of noteworthy, I suppose.

I agree. American IMPORTED * rugged excuse my ignorance, thank you for pointing that out haha. I just read up on it you are right, however many American hands, although located in Australia, took part in the build of those cars.

Chevrolet has been number one in NASCAR for a long time, everybody knows it whether they admit it or not, and I love it.
