A house is just the building structure.

A home start with a house and adds furnishings to create a warm environment, and eventually a ton of memories to create a sense of belonging and sentimental attachment.

A house is defined as a building or structure, whose main purpose is to be occupied for habitation by humans. On the other hand, a home is the place of residence or refuge. A person’s most personal belongings are kept in a home and it is where a person feels safe and accepted.

A lot of it is who you are with. I'm old fashioned also, so I think a woman really makes it a home.
