Replaced faulty ABS module now car misfires when accelerating?

I own a 2004 Mazda 6 2.3L automatic. The ABS and the engine light were coming on and throwing the car in limp mode. Mazda dealership diagnosed the issue and determined an ABS module failure. My local mechanic supplied and fitted one for me which got rid of the ABS and engine light on the dashboard, but now the car has difficulty accelerating. It idles fine but as soon as I step on the gas it bogs and pops like as if the timing is completely out. Disconnecting the throttle sensor however makes the car rev happily, however when doing that it causes the engine light to come back on and throw the car in limp mode. Any ideas?

I have a similar hindrance as well, my vehicle appears to misfire when idiling, and the car is drinking the petrol, adore it's going out of fashion, my make of car is a mondeo 2ltr ghia, R reg, so it's historic, however I had a volvo which used to be a higher engine size and that didn't use as a lot petrol as this car. Also I believe my idiling velocity of 1,000 revs is also too excessive. Mine is doing exatcly the equal, jerks from time to time, and i have a scent of petrol when I flip the engine off. Does any person have any recommendations? I consider it should desire a excellent tune up,
