Should I dress up for my first day of high school?

Wear the dress if you're confident and want to make a statement. That can be a risky move - you don't want to stick out too much, on your first day, it could start you off badly. But if you like the look and you pull it off with some confidence, it'll be great and show you have your own sense of style and some confidence and strength.

However a lot of people want to blend in a bit for the first few days, and wait a little before going all out. if you're like that, then wear a cute top and high waisted jeans and you'll still look great without seeming too bold or over the top.

I wouldn't be all dressed up too fancy for the first day of school. I remember back then I did and I was one of the few students who really stood out.:( if I were you I would wear a collar shirt with a cardigan and maybe a skirt or slacks. I wouldn't wear heels that are too high. 1-2 inches are good. Remember this is high school not a fashion runway.

I suggest wearing that cute flirty dress (with shorts underneath if you're worried about flashing), and toning the outfit down with earthy jewelry and simple hair. If the weather allows, through a knit cardigan over. Hope this helps!

I think you should wear the high waisted pants outfit!(: for the first day, you don't want to seem too uptight and kinda fake by dressing up. so just be casual.(: I think later on in the week you can wear a dress so it looks like you can be dressy and casual(: hope I could help!

definitely go to the cute top and jeans. that would make a bigger statement than a dress. so many girls wear dresses on their first day. but honestly, I know its your first day of high school and all, but almost all of the upperclassmen wont be looking at you. to them, its like oh look, more freshman. take it from me, I graduated last year. but I don't want that to depress you! just a forewarning.

I would wear some short cute shorts. Make yourself look hot. On my first day of school i wore casual jeans and a sweater, all the other girls were really girly and cute looking. Trust me on this.

most people don't, it's best to wear something cute but comfortable since there is already so much pressure looking for classes, lockers and old friends who classes match. big pain to wear a high maintenance outfit.

Yep, we had them each so in lots of circumstances. approximately two times or thrice a 12 months. in basic terms element is, we had to pay €one million for own clothing days. It became the colleges little way of elevating funds for sparkling computers lol. :)

I do enjoy using long skirts once in a while. They are simply actually more comfortable than Denims rather than as hot to wear also.

I like women in jeans. It creates them look more city like and it doesn't appear to be they try too much but if you are looking to get this fellas attention, this may well not be what you want
