It depends on your school, but for most you're supposed to be in Algebra 1. If you were a year behind, you'll be in Pre-Algebra, and the honors course would be geometry.

It could be anywhere from math 8, algebra, algebra honors, or geometry. Depending on your school and what you took in grade 7.

8th grade math is typically like an intro to algebra. You'll start learning equations, how to graph things and you'll work with things like radicals exponents, etc.

Depending on your ability level, it is usually either PreAlgebra or Algebra, but it will also depend on the district
