Why do i get disconnected from internet?

I have a wired internet connection and every so often in the middle of whatever the internet just shuts down so i cant do anything. The only thing that helps it is to restart the computer because nothing else works. I tried on other computers when my computer's internet went down and their's worked fine. What's wrong?

    Have you tried updating the drivers for you network adapter?

    It could be your router. I advice buying an Airport Express with Wifi N... everyone has Wifi these days.

    Hi,

    Check your LAN driver. Try to install a new updated LAN driver from the manufacturer's website.
