women on UK banknotes?

what is the big deal? we already have women on the UK banknotes we have the queen and Elizabeth Fry so why does the feminist want to change it to someone like Jane Austen?

Jane Austen has written some books wow and god made the earth in 7 days where is he on bank notes LOL no where....

do the feminist want a FWO (feminist world order)?

I don't see why they cared enough to campaign to add her in somewhere. The bit that I object to is that she replaced Charles Darwin. Charles Darwin. Charles. Friggin. Darwin. Why are we getting rid of Darwin?! I love seeing his face on my banknotes and the idea that him & his rationality & critical, scientific thinking is one of the things we use to define our culture! And we're replacing him with an author of a couple of popular fiction books? Forget feminism, we'd apparently rather be represented by a romance author than a pioneering scientist of reason. What's up with that? :/

Monarchs Automatically get put on the bank note so the whole country would be in uproar over that if Elizabeth was not put on it. I know that Victoria was put on but she too was a monarch. So the bank note lads have decided to keep the menstrual feminist lasses at bay by putting Jane Bloody Austen in. I have no problem with women, they are equal in every way to men, but Pride and Prejudice is a disgraceful english set text

Jane Austen is one of our most famous authors. I'd be delighted to see her on a five pound note.

I'd look up the men on my notes but I'm broke, the purse is bare.

i think of it truly is tremendously comical thinking how trivial that's. merely like "there is not any lady call highway indicators! We would desire to pitch a in advantageous condition for equality!" that's a form of extraordinary issues you hear and say "truly? you're struggling with approximately this?" it truly is like speaking to babies. in spite of the certainty that, i've got had extra logical, ordinary experience based arguments with youngsters than I unquestionably have with feminists. perhaps they might desire to do an cyber web ballot with a catalogue if possible people. enable all the voters who care make certain, no longer in elementary terms a tiny proportion.

I don't understand the hoohah about having women on banknotes. I certainly do not understand the people who objected to it. I believe that, eventually, women will be as capable as men and will be able to change tyres, mend things and be able to get spiders out of the bath.

Ha, I've never actually cared who was on the bank note and don't see why it's such a big fuss.
