How to smoothly slow a galloping horse?
My mare is a TBxQH, so as you can imagine, she has a lot of speed for a gallop! She's built more like the TB, so imagine tears streaming down and wind howling! lol
My problem is she slows like the QH, with a prop, and a little slide, and more props, and I've nearly come off! How do I get her to come back to slowly come back without the propping?
It was really funny the last time we galloped...the coach said to us "Let's race!" And we're like, "Ummm what happens if we can't stop them?" She said, Don't worry, when they see my horse stop, they will too!" Yeah, they stopped, my ***. hahaha

try circling and gradually getting smaller, forcing them to slow down but not making the stop.
hope this helps :)
