what can i do besides writing notes for myself to be more organized?
my mom and dad say i should write notes and stick them to the things i need to remember to do. i've tried so many times. it never works. i try and try but i just cant remember to do what i am supposed to do. i try setting alarm reminders in my ipod or phone. that doesn't work either.
i am also adhd. and my response to trying to remember something no matter what, is to forget it. i just forget what im trying to remember. i cant pay attention enough to remember.

Try visualizing your next day before you go to sleep, visualizing how you will complete your tasks, your errands, and in which order. Segment your day with the important, more difficult matters early in the day while you have more mental and physical energy. Save the easier, more enjoyable things for later. See if that helps you as your day progresses.

Set your mind to be organized & Practice At Home . I tell my daughters to mess up their "hangout" room , and leave it there for a while and see how frustrating it becomes . Try & watch the show "Hoarding, Burried Alive " to get a glimpse of how nasty people live, and how you don't want to belie them .
