Look- celebrities die because they overdose, mostly. They lead lives where they have easy access to drugs, and they are led to believe that they can do anything they want. The reason the cause of death isn't revealed immediately is that it takes time to run the various tests (unlike what you see on tv shows).

Celebrities dying without a full story? How'd you like it if you died and everyone on the planet knew how. Respect for the dead. Media fills in blanks. Managers of the celebrities tell what happened. Eventually word gets out rather fast.
