Was this well written need help getting this edited?

On August 8, 2013 at around 12:41 AM, Mr. Pierre Giusti came to the front desk and wanted access to Unit #1905, James' apartment. I checked my computer to verify that Pierre was listed under James' guest list. Pierre was listed and I told him that I would notify James that he was here. Pierre then told me that there was no need to call the resident because he was asleep and his name was already on the list. I informed Pierre that I am required to call Mr. James unless his name was annotated with “No call needed” on the list. I called James and alerted him of Pierre's arrival. James questioned why he was called when he had already entered Pierre on his guest list. I informed him about our call protocol and he was very understanding. He decided that he was going to talk to Asst. Danny to make some changes to that.

I can barely follow what's going on! It makes no sense. You need to start a new paragraph and use parenthesis whenever a different person is talking. Work on capitalizing names and things too. And you said "I informed" WAY too many times. I hate to sound mean, but this is definitely not well written, it needs a huge amount of editing. :/ Plus, it needs less rambling and more description.
