Why does Obama not speak out about the way Muslim countries treat their LGBT communities?

Well, for one the United States buys oil from Muslim countries and is allied with them so politicians won't turn their back on their allies. Secondly everyone kind of expects that type of thing out of Islamic theocracies and there isn't really much we can do about it. It is shocking however when it happens in supposedly "free, democratic" countries.

You and I can speak out about that ourselves. Why depend on the federal government?
