Why are Americans so easily offended?

American's do not own a monopoly in being offended or easily offended.

Individually one would be hard pressed to offend me, not even with the n-word for I know only low class, uneducated, fearful and ignorant people use such a word to press buttons. Apologies, but that doesn't work on me.

One sure way to make me become "offended" is to insult all of my countrymen by generalizing them. It's rude and I am quite protective of them as a whole.

People are people no matter where they live, people can become offended by the simplest of things and others will take no heed to even things most might. It just depends on the individual.

Yes, Americunts invented the word "offended". They treat the offence as highly as any other sane country would treat a murder crime, to offend is worse than murder here.
