Why do athiest & believers constantly fight ?
Why can't we all just get over the fact that some believe and some don't . I mean , I'm Christian & wish that everyone did believe but a large majority of atheist will never change their mind . But atheist are thinking we're stupid for believing there is a God & wish we would not believe but a large majority of Christians will never change their mind . We all need to state our beliefs then get over it .

I prefer to think of what goes on here as mostly debating, not fighting. Some people on both sides take it too far by getting personal. Even I will insult the intelligence of Christians when a Christian posts a question that infers that we Atheists are idiots. That is not an attack, that's self defense. But what I enjoy most is a good debate with someone who thinks exactly opposite of me and has good points to back up their position. There are a few good arguments in my opinion for the existence of a God but I hardly ever hear them here. Shame!

Anti atheism is doing so much damage to Christianity that it is in reality anti Christianity – David Manley
It takes in reality only one to make a quarrel. It is useless for the sheep to pass resolutions in favour of vegetarianism, while the wolf remains of a different opinion. - William Ralph Inge.
Why so blind to what causes the backlash against Christianity?
ALL the other religions and atheists live in peace and are ONLY attacked by BAD Christians which causes all GOOD Christians to despair at the damage they do!
The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only thing that can stop it is to abandon the terrible human emotions, seek to rediscover the idea of a loving god and act like it!

The only time I ever really fought with anyone over religion was when I was a believer. Furthermore, believers fight with themselves all the time trying to overcome doubts and inconsistencies in scripture. I still have a lot of Christian friends who knew me when I was one of them. We just don't talk about religion or "god" anymore. We may have initially bonded over our common faith, but we probably would have become friends regardless. I accept that they're still Christians and they accept that I'm not. I wouldn't try to take that away from them because it doesn't affect me. I actually don't care what people believe as long as they're not pushy about it. The ones who are should expect some blowback.

Almost Every skirmish in the middle east, Since Moses led his People out of Egypt. Has been over religion.
Conflict is in our nature as Narcissistic behavior prevails, Between the two there is NO compromise as each believes only in their own, and will not budge from their convictions.

Gee, that would be nice, wouldn't it? Unfortunately, we aren't all going to get along. Society forces us to DEAL with other people, not get along with them. People have different beliefs, opinions, ideals, principals, morals, and philosophies. That's why we can't all get along. Some Atheists believe that other people are stupid for not conforming to THEIR beliefs, opinions, ideals, principals, morals, and philosophies. The opposite is true as well. Some Christians believe that other people are stupid for not conforming to THEIR beliefs, opinions, ideals, principals, morals, and philosophies. There's the answer to your question, which wasn't really a question. It was merely a question followed by you stating your beliefs, opinions, ideals, principals, and philosophies. Clearly, some people won't agree with you, and you'l be the one fighting then, further proving my solid theory.

In democratic societies, both are given a vote which can affect laws that are passed which affect both. Because of this, irrational beliefs could cloud some people's ability to make decisions that a truly the best for society.

Lol you know, I cannot stand how athiests try to change my mind and belittle me because of my beliefs in God. It's rather annoying, I don't shove it down their throats, so why do they shove it down mine? It's idiotic.
