There are too many to mention.
A smart question would be something along the lines of...
why is it that Mormons give more money to charity than any other
group of people in the world and no other group of people is
even in the same ballpark, according to income tax returns???
Now that would be a smart question.
Never once has that smart question been asked by a Non-Mormon,
in my experience on Yahoo Answers.
That is a sad commentary on the world that we live in.

Those that are sincerely seeking knowledge and understanding, and sometimes the truth, ask sincere questions, and I don't consider any of them to be stupid.
To be fair, many people go to some ex/anti-Mormon website, read their trash, and not knowing any better come here and ask if we really believe that. Many of them are sincere, but a lot of them are just trolling and are not interested in actually learning anything. Too many come here to breed contention and discontent.
I hesitate to label a question as "stupid". I tell my children that a question is not stupid unless you have already asked it and had it answered and either you understood the answer, or did not want to understand, and then ask it again. The many ex/anti/quasi/troll-Mormons out here ask questions in that category. They don't want the answer as they have already made up their minds. They just want to troll and breed contention. What is sad is when those doing this consider themselves to be Christians.

Latter-Day Saints are counseled by their leaders to store up food and supplies against a time of need. Many LDS have extra food, clothing, and supplies stored in response to this advice. One time I was asked, "Is it true that you couldn't get married until you had two years' worth of beans stored in your basement?" I'm not kidding. The guy asked me this with a totally straight face.

Recently, just about anything coming out of Paula A on this forum. Her questions are truly ignorant and offensive. She recently asked what we think about her being back. My thought was so what, I didn't know she was gone. Her venom toward the LDS faith is inexplicable and she doesn't express it with any intelligence.

Funny that.
As a Mormon, I am often told what I believe by non-Mormons, not asked. If only they could get it right.

A question that I'd like to ask them is why they think the book of mormon is legit as the book of revelation says that nothing more shall be added to scripture....?
Genuine question.

You actually believe your religion is not the product of a confidence gamer? Seriously?
Oh, wait. That's two questions.
