Order on Amazon/Delivering help?
So on August 5th I ordered a sweatshirt off of Amazon. When I look under the "Your Orders" tab it says that the delivery estimate is August 9th - August 13th. It also said that it is shipped.
I looked under the "Track Package" tab and it said it was delivered on August 9th. Although I wasn't home (babysitting), my brother was looking for the postal guy to drop it off. I didn't believe that it actually was delivered until I looked at the USPS website (that's what is delivering it) and it said that it indeed was delivered yesterday at 11 am.
I didn't get a note or anything on my door if it was delivered. Unless they just left it on the doorstep, which wouldn't be good because I live in an apartment and there are ALWAYS people around.
Do you think that it could be delivered in the next couple of days, or did I really miss the delivery? Thanks in advance.
:)
I forgot to mention, when I was looking at the tracking thing on Amazon it said it was "In Transit"

I'm hoping that this possibility is correct. Perhaps the parcel landed in your apartment building's manager's office, so check that. That's happened to me a few times (even though I was here). The status changed to 'delivered' (no intercom ring) and so I went down, and it was indeed in the manager's office. Couriers (including USPS) seem to be getting a little lazy these days. They must be under a lot of pressure.
I happen to be lucky enough to live in a secure building (it happens to be a smoke-free building, which is good because it means that there are no druggies here, or at least I haven't visibly noticed any, although I know there are a few.) At any rate, as I was going out yesterday, sure enough there was a parcel left outside someone's door. As anyone would do, I wondered "What's in that?". Naturally I didn't take it ... there are video cameras all around this place, which is *fine* with me!
If it's not in the office, then it's time for you to contact USPS, the vendor, Amazon and say you never got your parcel and hence a refund is in order.
