my house is online for sale but I am not selling it?

So I was doing some searches for homes for sale and I was astonished and scared when I happened upon a real estate site with a photo and all the specs of my house in which it was advertising it for sale, the problem is that I am not selling my house! I called the real estate company and they said "on our listing your house is not for sale but is being used as a reference." I told the man " a reference! then why are you "advertising" it for $250,000?" isn't it illegal to have a home for sale that is not for sale! what's next? people are gonna start showing up at my door asking to see my house that is not for sale. what can I do to make them take this listing down. Here is some background information. I had my house built from the ground up, I am the original owner, my home has never been for sale. I live in Florida, what can I do?

Contact your county district attorney and report the real estate company. They are committing fraud.

Keep records. A notebook of the date you called and the name of the person.

Also write a letter to the real estate company.

    Keep a copy.

A lawyer would take this for free. Imagine suing a realty like Century 21?
