Here is a link to a supplier of plants and supplies for growing insectivorous plants: http://www.carnivorousplantnursery.com/info/growin...
I have used their information to successfully grow a variety of insectivorous plants.

You need an ericaceous compost. Garden centres are supplying many peat-free composts so should be able to help. Ask for a compost suitable for heather or rhododendrons. Water if possible only using rain water. Unfortunately the mixtures supplied by carnivorous plant specialists all appear to contain sphagnum moss peat.
