if a consumer has had a stroke and has right sided weakness and needed help walking?

would the assistance of the consumer :

a. walk in the back of the consumer

b. walk in the front of the consumer

c. walk on the left side of the consumer

d. walk on the right side of the consumer

    you should never let him walk, you should seek immediate medical help, never try to play with the life of a person.

    You mean patient.

    How soon after the stroke (cerebrovascular accident) are you referring to? Immediately after? Or when they have been stabilised and ready for rehabilitation?

    Support them on/from their left side, when ambulating them. They would start off using a wheelie frame (four wheels) which supports their arms at their elbow height. The aid stands to the patients left, slightly behind them. If the patient were to drop, the assistant would then be able to lower them gently to the floor by supporting them around their waist.
