It's the "Barcarolle" from The Tales of Hoffmann by Offenbach

The very first snippet of music is from Johann Strauss' "Der Fledermaus" Act II (Mein Herr Marquis) which is followed by an orchestral arrangement of the Act II Barcarolle from Offenbach's "Tales of Hoffmann" ("Belle nuit, ô nuit d'amour"). It is written in 6/8 time rather than 3/4.
