yes because leveling up in video games is addictive and fun, sometimes earning new abilities and fun stuff. Life might be more fun if people came with levels, so you know what you're dealing with right up front.

Maybe if I level up, I can earn the attention of some of the local wenches. I've had my eyes on that Elven sorceress that runs the tavern for some time now.

I like it how it is

After all you have sort of the same thing

You have stages from childhood, then teen years, then becoming 18 you can do all sorts of things you werent allowed to do, then 21 you can drink legally, etc.

I rather it just the way it is there will be to much competition.
