Did you log in before installing the app? If no, Login and try installing apps.

1. Restart your computer and try again.
2. Uninstall Google Chrome from your computer and reinstall it again.
3. Try the extensions once more.
4. If it still doesn't work, call Google.

You probably don't have administrative privileges on the system. Look it up.

You can try changing your download folder location and restart the browser.
