I had considered purchasing an Alpine ozone pure air machine to deodorize a room in my home.?
I have read some bad press that these machines that create ozone are harmful to health. Does anyone have experience with these?

I do not have experience with this machine.
Do not run ozone into an occupied room, be that houseplants, pets, or anyone you care about. If it has a timer, use that. If it doesn't, start it, leave for the desired time, enter and turn it off then leave the room for an hour.
Do not run ozone more than once a week, as it can be hard on carpet backing, upholstery padding, fabric dyes.
If ozone cannot be turned off, do not get this machine.
