What does your ideal Thanksgiving dinner consist of?

I usually go for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner:

Turkey

Ham

Turkey gravy and red-eye gravy

Smashed Yukon Gold potatoes (with the skins left on)

Stuffing (made with corn bread and cooked inside the turkey)

Candied Yams with mini marshmallows melted on top

Cranberry sauce (Emeril's recipe is AWESOME)

Homemade squash rolls

Homemade pumpkin pie with real whipped cream

The only place my wife and I deviate is we make broccoli/cauliflower casserole instead of green bean casserole, and we usually don't put French fried onions on top.

Even if money were no object, I would stick to the traditional Thanksgiving dinner because it's my favorite.

We do standing rib roast and beef tenderloin with all the trimmings for Christmas dinner. We do both because the ones who like standing rib roast like it medium well, so the rest of us eat medium rare tenderloin.

Instead of ham at Easter, we do a New Orleans feast (homemade gumbo, homemade jambalaya, homemade shrimp and crawfish etouffee, homemade red beans and rice, and homemade red velvet cake). One of these years we'll have to do fried alligator and beignets...
