I get proper angry every now and then but when I do I put my pillow up against the wall and just let loose on it, far better than causing any physical damage to yourself?

If you're young I presume, I had a similar problem when I was your age.
Depending on your personality, (extrovert/introvert) these will have a large affect on what sets you off.
I used to get angry because something someone did or said to me set off my hair-trigger temper.
It took quite a while, but I realized that being unable to control the words or behavior of other people was what usually pushed all my boiling mad buttons.
Once I developed an objective praxis using self-actualization as a basis framework, I stopped allowing my hypersensitivity to create anger related stress as I have far too many relatives who have died from cancer and I didn't want to end up as another bleak statistic by allowing my temper to dig me an early grave.
A short and to the point guide for avoiding anger triggering events is to focus only on things within your control, obviously some people are prone to worrying about everything they see or have a personal opinion about how to improve or change an issue/object.

Well my first question is do you have social anxiety, if yes that would be the answer, if not I have another question, how much sleep do you get? There is a hormone in our body that increases our heart rate when we don't get enough sleep, because the brain tries to keep us from falling down so, the faster your heart rate the easier it is to make you unsettle, or sad or angry, if you get a decent amount of sleep 7-10 hours then it may be in your gene-pool because the anger management status is passed down, I myself have it, but I can mostly control myself by reading books or playing a music instrument.

Until you are legally an adult, your mom is responsible for you. So you may not like her decisions--but that's life.
Banging your head may do serious damage--concussion, etc, and you could end up seriously harming yourself.
You are responsible for your actions--so screaming and banging IS your fault!
