Could it be labour pains? Please help :(?

I'm 17 and am currently 31 weeks pregnant. I've been getting these weird and very painful cramps in my lower abdomen all day (coming and going, lasting about an hour)

I've tried laying down, walking and even had a hot bath but didn't help. Is this bad or normal?

It isn't bad - its normal. This is Braxton Hicks contractions - basically it is your uterus practicing for labour. This will continue to happen at random times, until you have real labour. Some women have very painful BH contractions, some don't. But that is what they are - Braxton Hicks.

Don't know if it's bad or normal, BUT, it is probably not labor pains. Labor pains start, last a minute or less, go away, and then come back. With time in between each pain. When the pains become apparently 10 minutes apart constantly, then it's time to have your baby. But why don't you just go to a hospital ER and get check out?

It sounds like round ligament pain to me honey, which is normal during pregnancy, what I would recommend is that if the pain gets too uncomfortable see your doctor to get checked out and to put your mind at ease, I can't tell you how many times I saw my doctor for the smallest of things, and he put my mind at ease every time!!! They do not mind, that is what they are there for, it is better to be safe and put your mind at ease, and have a happy, healthy pregnancy♥♥♥

    G♥♥d luck :-)

Those are contractions. If they keep up I say head to the emergency just to be safe
