Priests, prophets, and pedophilia?

Both Christianity and Islam have a history of endorsing or sheltering pedophilia. Since we rarely see traits in the children that we don't see in the parents, does Judaism have the same problems? Is it too rife with pedophiles?

Ahh the three P's of religion.

Did a google search regarding your question and this was the first thing that popped up:

However, I'm not one of those people that believes everything on the net ... I'd have to do more research.

It's not the religion it's the person, I'm Catholic and I'd love to beat up all the pedophiles be it a priest or a tramp, they all fall into the same category of retards to me. And I just have to say Islam is the devils work! Who demands people kill eachother, who demands the forced marriage and rape of 8 year old girls, at least Catholics and Christians are told, treat your enemy as your neighbour and that adultery is a sin, basically if your not a good person on earth then you ain't coming to heaven. In Islam it's act like the devil and you get 40 virgins to rape when you die. Bloody wonderfull religion NOT! Il stick with being Catholic and believing that treating people nicely and being a good person is reward enough.

All religions have this problem. Why? Because they put pedophiles in positions of authority over children. It's the same reason education has had problems with pedophiles.

Pedophiles naturally seek positions in which they will have access to, and control of, children.

Ruth, that would be "try TO be honest". You know? To be or not to be?

Bad refererence... That would imply you're familiar with literary works.

You're absolutely right though. "Celibate" priests are the way to go and I've never heard of anything going wrong...
