Help with transferring old camcorder tape to disk?

The charger for my SHARP CAMCORDER VL-E37H is broken and I need to replace it to turn the camcorder on. Does anyone know where I could get a charger for this type of camcorder. The original charger is a SHARP AC ADAPTOR/BATTERY CHARGER UADP-0207TAZZ. I looked online and seen that the exact charger is selling for over £100, anyone know somewhere I could get it cheaper or something that would work just like it for less Once all that is done I want to transfer the tapes to dvd, again any tips or info on how to do it or where to go ect would be really appreciated.

Not sure about your camcorder power source but I have a suggestion for how to transfer analogue tape to dvd thru pc via a little box available from Pinnacle. The analogue tape goes thru the Pinnacle box to software where it can be saved and burned / transferred on to dvd / cd ... try Pinnacle Systems. Good luck..

P.S. I have been using the Pinnacle system for a few years now with an analogue vcr and analogue camcorder, with excellent results to pc and dvd / cd.

Source(s): I own one of these Pinnacle systems boxes which was bought for a birthday a few years ago.
