How do you know you've miscarried?

It's happened to my mom and sister. I just want to know how you know, like what happens. My husband thinks I might have had a miscarriage today. But I don't even know. Please help.

There are certain symptoms that warrant contacting your physician. If there is any question, it almost never hurts to get in touch with a medical professional, right? If for nothing else than some peace of mind when the well-being of your baby is in question.

You might also like to look over this article -- http://bit.ly/18zXVhl -- as well. The first part mentions some indicators that are definitely worth calling your doctor about, and the rest of it covers topics about what you can do if, God forbid, there was any problem facing you and your precious little one.

I hope this helps a little. I know it can be scary when there is any question of a miscarriage. Know that you, your husband, and your little one will be in my prayers. :)

I've never had a miscarriage but I believe it's associated with lots of blood and cramps. If you have those together then you might want to go see a doctor just to make sure.

usually you are aware you are pregnant such as it's been confirmed via blood test, etc...and then cramping, bleeding occurs. If you have no knowledge you were pregnant then you cannot know if you had a miscarriage or not, or just heavy bleeding, whatever.
