my daughter and i would like to know a little more about an Erin Hunter book series?

I was a big fan of the warriors series! There are 4 sub series with 6 books in each of the overal series. As well as many side books. No movies as far as I know, short movies on the website though.

The sub series-

Warriors: The New Prophecy

Warriors: Power of Three

Warriors: Omen of the Stars

There are warriors manga you can read, I have read a few but it's best to read farther into the series in other to understand them.

There are warriors guides which tell about the way of the clans and basically how they work.

There is also warriors super edition which feature a single cat and a story about them.

Dawn of the clans is a brand new sub series which currently has one book, and tells about how the clans came to be. The book is called The Sun Trail.

The series start with a young house cat named rusty who went exploring in the woods one day and ran into another cat his age named Graypaw, who is a member of Thunderclan. A bunch of wild cats who live in the woods. There are four clans, Thunderclan, Windclan, Shadowclan, and Riverclan. Rusty goes on to become a Thunderclan warrior apprentice and his name is changed to Firepaw because of his flame colored pelt. Firepaw eventually becomes the new clan leader after many books and his daughters Leafpaw and Squirrelpaw are the main characters in The new prophecy. Then in power of the three Firestars grandchildren are the main characters, Hollykit, Jaykit and Lionkit. One thing to know is that Jaykit is blind and it took me so long to understand that.

Anyway, the books are extremely confusing to read out of order. So start at the beginning and try your best to keep track of the many characters. I love this series and I hope you enjoy it!
