How do you feel about Smiling Faces & Hand Shakes?

When a greeting is truly warm and genuine....I take such delight in it, as it warms the heart; however if it's a hypocritical gesture....I avoid it at all costs!

I like the hand shake , it should be firm & a look straight in the eyes.

A handshake could serve as an easy way to transmit disease from one person to the next (if the disease is contagious and can be spread through contact).

Smiles are welcome from close friends, acquaintances, and strangers. Smiles from phony people or smiles from narrow minded individuals are worthless.

ive been called smiley since the first grade.

its almost a manic joy i always have with me. however some say when they see me that my smile scares them.

as for shaking hands, i dont shake hands anymore because when i was being medicated for cancer, i was told not to shake hands because if i received the flu i could die. so i changed my greeting to officially be a fist and knuckles to say hi. it was never anything to do with something like a gang handshake. however with current situtations being that we can get flu virus from shaking hands and doorknobs, even from some meats we eat or even the water and air we drink and breathe. its still safer not to spread the flu virus with traditions handshakes.

A smile is one of the few things that is impossible to give away, people keep returning them.
