Jack the Ripper revealed as Royal cover up ?
in 1888 the police believed they had identified the coach the two murderers were using to commit the jack the ripper crimes , they hired a prostitute to be used as bait, as she walked up to the coach she was attacked, and attempts were made by Sir William Gull, physician to Queen Victoria to force the prostitute into the coach, at this time the police made their presence known and Sir William had a heart attack on the spot and died ,all the medical equipment used as murder tools were present, and the driver of the coach was identified. because sir William died therefore he was not charged as jack the ripper, after his death the famous whitechappel murders stopped !
did the establishment cover this up because of royal connections
this information was not made public until 100 years after the murders in 1888
this information was available in 1988, so why has it not be publicly announced ?
more evidence of cover up ?

There was a made-for-TV movie that put forward this idea, so it's gained popularity since then. As with so many of the theories, there really is no conclusive evidence.
I understand that many years ago, someone wrote a book about the history of the London Police, and it noted that a man was arrested on suspicion of being the Ripper. He was a Russian or Polish emigre IIRC. His name isn't given, but it said he was committed to an asylum where he eventually died. Anyway, according to one story, a retired police official who had been involved in the Ripper investigation had a copy of the book, and years later someone found that he had written the man's name in the margin, and confirmed that he was the Ripper.
But then, some folks believe it was one of Queen Victoria's kids....

I have read extensively about Jack the Ripper and the book that made the most sense to me, is Prisoner 1167 by James C. H. Tully. There have been a lot of conspiracy theories about a cover up and the one that is given in this book is that this man was obviously insane and violent, but was able to escape the asylum several times. He was free during all of the killings. This would have been embarrassing to the hospital and the government. I believe that this book has more factual information than any other I have read. He seems the most likely suspect.

In the Black Museum or whatever PC name they give it now, the file on Jack the Ripper has several pages missing from it. The file was open to public scrutiny in 1988 and HRH Princess Diana was very disappointed to discover that the pages were missing when she visited the museum.
One thing, if a member of the Royal family was not involved, why did Queen Victoria express concern over the death of these prostitutes when London was rife with thousands of them. Whoever it was I think that the vacuous Duke of Clarence used these women and they were 'shut up' by someone else when they realised who their client was.
Queen Alexandra actively encouraged her son to mix with people of the lower classes namely artists etc and they mostly lived in London's east end which is why he is linked with the area.

There has long been a royal conspiracy theory among Ripperologists. Some believe Gull was covering for Prince Albert Victor, and that a man named Walter Sickert actually committed the crimes(Sickert has been viewed by many as the most likely culprit). Still, almost no evidence is in the public domain from Scotland Yard records from the era.

This is not fact at all,its part of the plot of a tv film made about the killings,There were no coaches cruising around the back streets of east london in the 1888's, no body knows who the ripper was,for some of the murders gull wasn't even in london,he was at balmoral with the queen.
