Recommendations please:classical music composed in the last year?
As of late, I've been woefully lazy in my music listening. Now, while Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and so forth wrote beautiful music, as a composer I really do feel I should also be listening to more recently composed music.
Does anyone have any recommendations of music composed in the last 12 months, with links where I can listen to it? I'm willing to pay for recordings.
Thanks in advance.
(Not particularly related, but for anyone reading this who is lamenting the "imminent death of classical music and the classical concert"- I went to a free concert today (four-hands piano), and the concert hall was completely full, and with people of all ages too.)

by utilising definition something composed contained in the previous fifty years does no longer be classical. there has been quite some tremendous song that has been composed although. i encounter myself interested in the rankings of Ennio Morricone, although he's a movie composer. John Rutter has quite some very staggering choral paintings. Tan Dun, although no longer continuously my renowned, has quite an output together with the YouTube symphony and the opera the first Emperor. Eric Whitacre is a starting to be movie star of both choral and wind song. Nobuo Uematsu is both very widespread and extremely sturdy. If in reality he might want to smash the stigma of being a sport composer. i'd want to take heed to significantly better from this composer. Or a minimum of song that isn't tied on to the perfect fantasy sequence of video games.
