Christians only!!!! Plz help I need answers!!!?
Im a 16 year old catholic girl who has been through a lot of pain, abuse and chaos in her life. But god has given me hope. I came here for answers. I just want to start out by saying that in the bible, it is said that if we ask god for something, we shall receive it only if we ask with faith, and only if he knows it's best for you. Well, I received it. So obviously he wants me to have it, do something with it, and benefit from it. The problem is, I'm having second thoughts of what he has given me. At first it went amazing. I felt like nothing could go wrong since he gave me exactly what I want, spot on. But now the path has gotten a little bumpy. I've been through a lot of confusion in my life, and this is just giving me more confusion. Just so you know, I'm a beginner. I went to a two day retreat and I felt him. So I believe that god does exist and I feel like a lot of good things will happen in the future. (He's been giving me a lot of signs from the past) So I have what I wanted. Now what? Everything was running smooth now it's just bringing me inner chaos. What does god want me to do with it? I know something big is going to happen but I want to know what. I'm growing impatient. How do I get him to communicate with me? Why does he want me to have it? Why did he let the situation go bad and confusing? I want him to tell me what's going to happen next. Plz I need serious answers. Sorry if this was too long.Thx for reading.
I need serious answers!! 2 pts isn't much of an accompliement. Don't answer if ur just going to say something unhelpful.

Whatever it is that God has given you, be careful that you don't love the gift more than Him.. for example, if he has given you a feeling of peace or comfort, or an answer to something, or some kind of material goods - remember to thank God for it, and not to get too attached to the gift.
I think that whatever God gave you, was to prove to you that he exists.. but that doesn't mean that you will always have the gift he gave you.. Trust God to know what you need. If the path has become bumpy as you say, then you just need to trust God - believe that he knows what is best for you.
don't grow impatient with God. He WILL answer you, He will direct you, in HIS OWN good time.. sometimes God makes us wait, to test us, to see if we will still believe even when he is silent. You can't 'make' him communicate with you - we don't control him. Just wait, and keep on praying.
" In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly."Psalm 5:2-4
this is the attitude we are to have - to wait to see what God will do.. God know the PERFECT time for things to happen.. what seems long to us, is short for him..
Learn patience.. I know this might not be encouraging but sometimes we have to wait a long time.. but it isn't a wasted time - we grow closer to God as we wait
Lord, I wait for you; you will answer, Lord my God. Psalm 38:14-16
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1-3
While you wait, learn more about God. Keep praying and trusting Him.. As for what does he want you to do - he wants you to wait! :-) We grow in faith, as we live in obedience. So, do what you know is right, and as you obey, he will cause your faith to Grow. It isn't OUR purpose that gets accomplished, it is GOD'S purpose.. so you just need to wait and then be willing to go where he directs you..

No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.(Psalms 84:11)
So, if God has given you what you asked for, why are you now doubting?
God will never give you anything and not give you the ability to use it.
The way to find out anything about God or about his purposes, is through
prayer and his word. Those are the things that God works through.
You should realize that if you asked (prayed) for something and got it, you
should continue to pray and ask for his guidance on how to use it.
God doesn't go by a watch or a calendar nor by the whining of us humans.
The scripture says to Wait on the Lord. Remember, God promised Abraham
a son, but it was 25 yrs before Isaac was born. Not saying it will be that long
before he answers you, but no one hurries God. His word says, He will never
leave you nor forsake you. Take comfort in that. Prayer and his word. The more
you know, the more you grow. With spiritual growth comes patience.
Always remember, when referring to the God of the bible to capitalize the "G"
Little "g" are the gods that man created.
God is your source; not R&S.

Your love of God is strong and that is good. Time on earth will have to answer the question, you need to wait and be patient. God knows what you need. There are a lot of confusing moments at 16. I am not sure what God gave you that you are having second thoughts on. If it is a boy best thing is to focus on school and your future. There are many fish in the sea.
If it is not you will figure it out just ask God he will answer you. But you will first have to listen with and open heart. God Bless. And I pray that you will find your answer.

You didn't tell us what it is you asked for and received. I wonder why?
Has anyone ever told you that Satan can and often does disguise himself as an "angel of light"?? He likes to lay traps for us, and try to trick us...and he often does that by giving us exactly what we think we want...especially when it is something God has denied. He is an expert at twisting the truth. His lies have just enough of truth in them that they can and do lead people into wrong and painful paths. Now, I can't say for sure that this is what has happened to you...but it does sound a bit like it.
Yes, God is very real...and if I am right, He is the only One Who can help you. Here on the internet, you're only going to be jeered at...as you have already seen.
Take this problem to God...confess to Him, and He will forgive you, and help you out of whatever situation you've let Satan lure you into with his false promises. That is my advice, anyway...

You have a *lot* to learn about Christianity, at least true Christianity.
For the *here & now,* God's promise is to provide for the *needs* --not the desires-- of his followers.
*After* Armageddon is when their *righteous* desires will begin to be answered.
Jesus was offered rulership of the world when he was on earth . . . by none other than Satan the Devil. Yes, Satan is the current ruler of this world, the god of this system of things, and as such has the power to give people whatever he or they want. And if in doing so he confuses & tempts ones into wrongdoing, that is so much the better from his viewpoint:

Christianity is not based upon 'feeling' that God exists, or 'getting signs' b getting what one may pray for. That is what the churches teach, but it is not what the Bible teaches. True Christianity requires serious Bible examination, applying Bible principles, following Jesus' commands, including the teaching of other interested ones how to become one of God's faithful followers.
When God's faithful followers in Bible times came upon hard times, did God always remove the problems in their lives, or, did he instead provide them with the strength & wisdom to deal with each situation as it arose . . . ?

You ask God for help then grow impatient when things don't turn our perfectly for you? Abraham was 100-years-old, Sarah 90 when Isaac was born. God is faithful. He always delivers. He expects you to wait. No matter how long it takes. His timing is pefect. And His character will not allow Him to harm you in any way, but only bless you. So if you don't feel blessed, perhaps it's time to ask God to show you where you messed up. You can begin by confessing your sins to Him (1 John 1:9). He can't hear you otherwise.

Bless your heart. Some things in life we dont understand we just have to believe that all things work together for those who love the lord. We just have to keep praying believing for the best and keep walking. My dad is verbally abusive and im having to ignore the bad and keep forgiving and praying constantly i keep telling myself i may not understand gods plan but im going to keep praying and believing. As far as what you asked for some things god shows us things through our trials i always pray for peace and answers. For instance when i get my mind back to peace i get in a quiet place and i enjoy life and dont think about anything i just keep walking forward because this life does get complicated. Confusion is also a work from the enemy and the only way to combat him is surround yourself by god things for instance music, bible, religous stuff anything good that makes you happy. And if you find what you wanted doesnt make you happy god will not be mad at you he loves you and accepts you no matter what you do you are valuable and precious in his eyes dont ever let the enemy confuse you in that area. Nothing can seperate you from god god holds you forever. I really hope i helped i was really really trying. the bible always says patience works wisdom maybe thats what your going through.

You will never meet with the God of the bible in a Catholic church. Why would He be there? They are PAGANS. I can only assume that you don't realize that satan answers prayers too. Be careful. If you are reading the bible even the least little bit then you would know that He has no part with Romes pagan religion. So who are you praying to?

you neglected to go into any details................but let me assure you that this life is to try you, your patience...your inner fortitude.....your stamina....everything.
look at this way.....................this life is but a few years...everyone has an appointed time to leave this earth. Once you leave it.....there is no more trying.....all efforts to do better stop. Lets say you are destined to die in a car accident on your 30th birthday. So, God has given you 30 years to discover him...his laws for you...and then....its all up to you to make sure that when you leave this earth...you are in the best standing possible to ensure that you inherit the kingdom.
Lets say you get discouraged ...you get into drugs...move in with a boyfriend...get pregnant..have an abortion......you find yourself with a dreg type of a guy that wont work.....
you take a drug overdose.....and die prematurely and your deeds in this life never quite materialized .
BUT>..................if you did your best no matter what type of life has come your way....you weather the storm....you live the best you can..you remain morally clean and honest and keep goignt o church..reading your bible...and being your best.....life never does seem to advance to a quality of...SUCCESS,,,but you ares till plugging along at your best....and on your 30th birthday.......God takes you at the moment of impact of a car accident....and you can walk into the spirit world...knowing you did your best!
don't give up..................be your best...at all times...this life isn't one big circus....its a testing ground.
so...pass that test...do your best............and walk that journey with everything you've got..............
" for it is written......- straight the gate and narrow the way, and FEW there be that find it".....
be one of the few....................don't give up, do everything by prayer and you wont fail

Forget about god when you're in trouble,no 1 gonna help you through it.Only you can help/save yourself.Face the reality, there's no such thing as god.
Edit:You really want a helpful answer,I suggest you forget about the god you're believing in and go deal with the problem yourself.Believing in a god would help you to deal with the problem will not help at all.Just be patient and deal with your problem 1 by 1.Been there done that.
