I am thinking of getting a Kindle Fire HD 8.9. Is it as good as an Ipad?

It has almost all same features as the iPad itself. But the main benefit you get in Kindle Fire HD is that you would be able to find it on a way cheaper price compared to iPad. Making it the best bang for your buck.

Kindle Fire HD has pros like:

- dual WiFi antenna for faster streaming and downloads

- digital dolby stereo speakers

- Price is almost half compared to iPad 4

- You still get almost the same screen quality

- Amazon infused

- stuff you buy on Kindle fire HD can be taken around and be used on almost every device, whereas on iPad you are restricted to use stuff at apple products only

- You can customize almost everything in accordance to you and widgets are a plus to KFHD whereas on iPad you are pretty much stuck with what is built-in

iPad definitely is the better option as the variety of apps, accessories, retina display, smooth working or OS and hardware, dual camera make it the best option in market.

I think Samsung note 8 is good or iPad, but I've never tried Kindle fire
