I have a 750 watt Corsair PSU. I seem to get problems with freezing and resetting on my PC when I plug in the extra 4 pins on the 20+4 pin motherboard connector, but not when I leave only 20 pins plugged in. However, I have read that this is not ideal, and it will eventually overheat or damage the 20 pin connector. If it makes any difference, my graphics card is powered by 2-6 pin pci express connectors coming from the PSU. Please advise if I should plug in the 20+4 all the time and look into a new power supply, or provide material stating that it is ok to leave only the 20 pin plugged in in cases of having independent pci express power.

lets say i have a material that is exactly 4 shades of grey, and it is mapped to an irregular, organic model. is it possible to select or detach only one shade, ie, the whitest or darkest shade, etc.? I need to separate models into their color elements after having already mapped them.

I have already been to ati.com and searched through their drivers, but they currently dont support vista, so i guess im looking for a custom driver or temp fix. i have also already tried windows update, but their driver does not work, in that it wont allow me to effect my screen resolution to where it should be.

I need it to automatically convert the downloaded file to mp4, and to delete the old file, etc.

Anyone heard of any that does this?

I am looking for a DVD burner for a laptop, and they don't seem to sell them in stores here. Newegg only ships to the U.S., and Ebay doesn't have the security to return it if it doesn't work.

vga out still works, so its not the gpu. everything works normally except the screen is totally black.

i have used 3.1, 4.2, 5.1, 7.1, and 8, and i think that 5.1 is the most solid, anyone else think version 7.1 is a bit buggy? is there a way to roll it back when you have the standalone version?

i have the sd card version and it goes very slow in the conversion process. i am unable to find a hotfix for the firmware, are there any alternatives?
