Mental Health Facilities in the US?
I reside in the Caribbean and the mental health services here are extremely poor. It is so bad that doctors cannot pin point what I have - I've heard major depression, bipolar type two, dysthymia, and now borderline. I am considering to check myself into a mental health facility in the US for treatment but I do not have information about if foreigners can use the facilities, which ones are best for my 'diagnosis', costs, and location. Can someone give me some information or links please? Thank you

My suggestion is to visit the National Alliance on Mental Illness website. You can search local areas for hospitals, doctors, therapists, group counseling, clinical psychologists and key telephone numbers.
