If I buy scratch offs will my college ID be accepted?

It just has my name and picture on it and has my school on it, will they just accept it without a DOB because they know college kids are 18 or do i still need my drivers license

Update:

I've always had my ID checked buying them

You need a state issued ID. In fact, for ANY sort of ID situation, you will need a state issued ID, or a passport, or a military ID. This includes writing a check.

There are a few kids, not many, but a few, who manage to get into college before 18, by the way.

What are you talking about? You don't need to show id to buy a scratch off.

I used to buy scratch off tickets for my Grandmother for her b-day and I was only 10. You can buy them at any age.. You can only collect the winnings (if any) if your 18 or older
