will colleges accept me?
okay so i'm going to be a senior in high school and thinking about college is scaring me. i don't think any colleges are going to accept me. my GPA junior year was about 3.0 to 3.3 and my SAT score was a 1300 but i'm going to retake it and aim around 1500 probably. i'm on the water polo team (junior varsity) and it's going to be my 3rd year playing and i've been on the swim team for 3 years and will be swimming my last year this coming school year. i'm also in the filipino club and i'm an officer this upcoming school year and i've been in the club since freshman year. i was planning on applying to cal state long beach and cal state fullerton as my top 2 schools that i really wanna go but i'm not sure if they will accept me. recently i thought about applying to ucla but i don't think they will accept me. do you think i can get into cal state? what about ucla? and also i applied last year to be on asb but didn't get in, if i were to be accepted into asb and dropped water polo, would being in asb only my senior help me a lot to getting accepted in college as opposed to being in a sport for all 4 years even though i wasn't on varsity? what do you guys think? i'm terrified that i won't be accepted into a college.

Your mediocre GPA and very low SAT scores are killers.
CC for you - excel there and then transfer to the 4-year school that they have an articulation agreement with.
Start thinking about a sensible major so that you can qualify for employment. Business, Health Care, or STEM [except biology which is overcrowded].
