What if tomorrow the ideal of a god was proven to be irrefutably false?

And you found out that everything you ever did was the result of your own merit. Your own strife, your own struggles that you overcame yourself becoming more then you were before all on our own.

Wouldn't matter to those that don't want to know...

They would just ignore it and stay in their world...

    IMHO

If you're right, then I have nothing to lose. We'll all end up in the same place, that is, oblivion.

However, if I'm right, and there is a God in heaven, then look a what you've lost by being such a doubter and a skeptic!

I'd be so happy. I don't have to worry about anything anymore, not worry about a thing a do, not worry about sins, Have a big party end enjoy the rest of my life. I'm a Christian and so tired of everyone telling me that everything is a sin.

Tomorrow? Epicurus already proved that the ideal God has to be false over 2000 years ago.

that is impossible. there is no way in the world that i kept myself alive when i was bleeding to death and ended up in the hospital with a 2.5 hemoglobin count. every doctor and nurse i have ever spoken with about that says it is impossible that i am alive....and yet, here i am.

i am 100% certain that God, the Maker of heaven and earth kept me alive. i did not do it for myself.

For nearly all human-claimed "gods," that's already the case.

And since I've already accepted that, no new evidence showing some claimed "god" doesn't exist wouldn't affect me one bit.

I highly doubt any human theory of God or science is true.

The thing is, if we find out how the universe was created, they will just claim that was just a mean their God took to make it.

That would be pretty fantastic as it would prove that universal law was also untrue.

You can't prove a negative. Simple logic. But I wish it were possible just to keep creepy christians form scaring my kids at Walmart and to keep them off my lawn.
