Is Culiacan, Sinaloa MX safe to travel to?

I have family on my dads side that live in Culiacan and they say that I shouldnt go because of the violence but I really want to go

    The entire city has it`s roots in the supply of Marijuana since the late 70s. Home to El Chapo and his Sinaloa Cartel. The area surrounding Culiacan is prime area for the fields of Weed

    If your family says it`s too dangerous........it`s too dangerous.

    Culiacan is the drug capital of Sinaloa and home to the most powerful drug lord in the world (El Chapo Guzman). Go at your own risk pretty much.
