Sony Trinitron CRT TV Has sound but No picture (come too late about 7 min later)?

Hi I have Sony Trinitron TV made in Dec. 1997 (old TV) Model No: KV-32S22. The problem of the TV is when I turn on the stand by light flashes about 6 minutes, during flashing no picture (no light) on screen but I have sound from TV. What is the problem does it worth to fix.

The problem is the TV is nearly 16 years old, and no, it is not worth it to fix it.

Just go buy a new TV.

that is the electronics inside the television, not the speed of sound or light. The TV receives the signal, light speed, from the remote at which point the sound and picture are activated at the same time. the electronics for the sound have to be sent through an amplifier and then to the speakers. The picture however must be decoded from the cable/airwaves/satellite signal and then the power supply inside the TV must charge up and project these onto the screen through a cathode ray tube assuming it is an old style TV. If not, more digital processing must be done to send the on and off commands to the right pixels on the screen. So really all that is slowing down the picture is a little processing that the sound does not have to deal with.
