Since many people are brought up in many different homes with many different experiences that lead them to the same faith, I would guess that the chances are pretty high that I would have the same faith even by different life experiences.

For me, the seed was planted in fertile ground and has grown slowly but surely. Some are like seeds that fall among the rocks, and they sprout quickly but then whither in the hot sun. It is good to be skeptical and grow slowly as I did. But it is bad to be a hypocrite and to use two different measures.

If you trust testimony as the basis for science, then why isn't testimony good enough for other religions? When a scientist does an experiment using the scientific method, he publishes his results in peer reviewed papers and other people may repeat his experiment and publish their results. It is the same with Christianity. One person may find a personal relationship with God and tell others about it, and others may repeat the experience. But in science, is a negative result any proof? No! It may be that one or two scientists fail to replicate the steps needed for the positive result. Given that millions of Christians today have a personal relationship with God, isn't that enough evidence to convince even the most skeptical person that the principle works? No matter where you go in the world, you can find a personal relationship with God through Christ.

I'm pretty sure I'd still be an atheist as I grew up in a religious household in the first place.

Can theists say the same? I think not.

Here we have a man of logic. Not faith. I personally believe religion is created in ones mind by fear. For all religion creates is hope.

    Possibly, or possibly not?
