working out question?

I was wondering if it is possible to get noticably bigger and more defined in 4 weeks of hard working out 5 days a week and taking protein supplements.I'm 5'10" and 135 pounds.I am already toned being so skinny.

How can I achieve this.what would be best

You can absolutely see results in 4 weeks, but you need to have reasonable expectations and know the limitations of your body. For building muscle, it's not as much about doing a set number of reps as it is doing an exercise until you can't do it anymore(using heavier weights helps with this). Be sure to have a good source of protein within an hour after working out, because that's when your muscles need them most. Also, let the muscles rest for a day or two before working them again. For example, if you do chest and shoulders one day, the next day you could focus more on core or legs. This rest period plus the protein makes sure the muscles have enough time to fully recover from your previous workout before working on them again.

Sure, people make the most gains when they first start working out AND if they start off doing it right.

Are you doing a 5 day split? This means to split up which muscle groups you workout over a 5 day period. You should not workout the whole body each time you lift so you can make the most gains. Make sure you tax that muscle group as best you can aswell.

EAT FOOD. You need an excess of calories to build muscle.
