Did I suffer a heel spur or something else possibly?

About a year ago I had some heel pain on my right heel. It hurt when I put weight on it and I felt like there's pressure on it and it kind of felt weird like pressure buildup. I had been wearing flip flops a lot and the soles of my shoes we're wearing down. I thought I had a heel spur but I never went to the doctor. There was no bump or anything on the heel or no discoloration. After a few days of rest and ice it went away and there been no problems since. I even bought sneakers with an insole to help protect future damage. I was wondering if what I had was a heel spur or something else? If you need more information you can contact me somehow. Thanks anything will help!!

Heel spur would be indicated if your pain was worse first step in the am. What you are describing sounds like a bruise since you got better so quickly

Hello, you can also get Planters warts on the soles of your feet and they can get painful to,

Plantar Warts appear on the soles of the feet. They are caused by the human papilloma virus. Viral molecules enter through tiny abrasions or cracks. Most appear as thickened, cauliflower-like patches that interrupt the normal foot pattern. Some have a pin-size black center and bleed when scratched.

Warts on the toes or top part of the foot are usually painless but may be itchy. Warts on the soles of the feet can cause serious irritation and discomfort, especially for people who spend most of the day standing or walking. A single wart can be as small as 1mm. Frequently though, the virus spreads to the surrounding skin, causing a cluster of warts that can be as large as several square centimeters.

I hope yours never come back.
