Have you done cross country ?

If you did how was it ?

Today at orientation I basically was harassed by the cross country people trying to make me join . At first I was like heeeeellll no , because I'm not to fond of running ...but then I though it would be a great way to get in shape & improve my health ! But I'm in cheer and the practice schedules might conflict ...

Should I join ?

    The only cross country I've done is cross country skiing and I did like that, I didn't ever do it through school tho.

    I think you should get a cheer schedule or at least know when your seasons are for cross country and cheer, both are usually around the same time, cross country up here is the start of school, same with cheer but like a month later for football.

  • I did it once in 4th grade. Everyone was way older than me so I quit.

    Plus, I didn't like the coaches or the people that were in it. I love running, just not that much.

    You should join as long as you want to. It's all up to you.

    I never did cross country, just track and field. It did help me get into shape, but I was awful at distance running.

    No, I'd be terrible at it. I can't run for too long without feeling like I'm about to faint. I actually think I have something wrong my lungs. My upper right side hurts whenever I walk for too long or run.

    Personally, no, I have not. But it is a good way of gettin in shape. Lot of cardio involved. If that's your goal, go for it.
